Well, the flight that I am supposed to be on hasn’t even arrived at JFK yet. In fact the crew of the flight is sitting in the hall leading to the gate so they can take over when it arrives. In addition to the bad weather here in New York City (there have been scattered thunder storms all over the place) it seems that there is some pretty bad weather in the middle of the country which is making a big mess for everyone involved. My flight is supposed to now be taking off at 6:25pm but being that it’s 6:15 right now, I highly doubt that it will be departing on time.

The real annoying thing for me is that the usually reliable Wifi connection here at Terminal 6 is slow and unreliable. Even bringing up an all text page like Drudge Report takes forever. In fact, I am writing this post from a local client that I have installed (Mars Edit for those that were wondering) because I can’t even get to our website. It’s that unreliable.

Well it appears that Menevit is now indeed available for over the counter purchase. The jury is still out if it really helps to improve pregnancy rates.

It’s time for show and tell again:

This week I selected one of the many needlepoints I’ve done over the years. This one Rivky and I picked out together. She like the birds (she loves animals) and I like the cherries - my favorite fruit. It hangs in Rivky’s room and I’ve gotten many compliments on it. I enjoyed working with metallic and suede threads - that was new to me with this needlepoint.

In news that makes me quite happy, a new study indicates that overweight men don’t inherently have a problem with sperm production. Of course you may have other problems, but this issue won’t be one of them.

I know that Malky has some legitimate problems with this study and I’m sure that she’ll bring them up in the comments, but for now I’m going to have some more ice cream. :) 

UPDATE: Digging into some older news items I found this opposing viewpoint.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dad’s out there and to the want to be dad’s as well. You are dads in your hearts already that’s for sure. We had Rivky’s birthday party today as well. She’s 8. It’s so hard to believe she 8 already. Where has the time gone. It was just yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital! Okay, maybe not yesterday but not all that long ago. The party was very nice. Rivky had one school friend over and lots of aunts and cousins as well as my dad and my step mom.

My father brought his guitar and my sisters and I sang alot of old songs from our teenage years. My nieces were impressed I’m sure. Brought back some nice memories of how we used to all sing together. We were a very musical family. My oldest sister has an especially beautiful voice and does harmony extremely well.
